Born in Lebanon, Yusef Makhlouf was called to occupy a place on the altars with the name of St. Charbel. His life was spent in absolute adoration to God and the Blessed Virgin, leading a life of humility, obedience, devotion and holy dedication. Father Charbel was canonized in 1977, a very miraculous saint.
