Cada unidad de Enlace 2 se abre con los objetivos comunicativos que, como un hilo conductor, anudan su contenido, de forma que el estudiante asuma un mayor control sobre el avance de su aprendizaje y que se evidencie un verdadero proceso de aprendizaje de la lengua extranjera. Cada tema es introducido con muestras de lengua de diversa tipología que, en lo posible, responden a textos auténticos.
