Sinopsis del Libro

En la pequeña comunidad budista de Dag Shang Kagyu, ubicada en el prepirineo aragonés, se dan cita las gentes más dispares en un ambiente dirigido al recogimiento y al encuentro con uno mismo, pero en el que no se puede evitar que también confluyan todas las pasiones humanas, hasta el punto de dar lugar al asesinato. El designado para investigar el caso es un inspector que acaba de cruzar el umbral de los 40 años y que no podrá impedir el desconcierto en un mundo que le es ajeno. Lejos del heroísmo, tiene que vencerse a sí mismo para seguir adelante, tarea en la que le es de inestimable ayuda la perturbadora presencia de una guía-traductora al servicio de los lamas que regentan el lugar. Además de la absorbente intriga en la trama, la obra desvela al lector aspectos fundamentales del budismo a la manera occidental y de las oleadas new age que cíclicamente llegan hasta nuestra sociedad, como la que probablemente nos alcance para 2012.
