The Design of the home continues to be of great interest to both architects and designers. How to configure a living space according to the characteristics of a site and the specification of the client is still the starting point of any house project. However, the final solutions can be as diverse as they can be interesting. This publication takes a specific look at the way architecture will evolve when regarding inhabitations around the world due to climatic changes and different cultural expectations.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.

For his critics and biographers, the 1930s have always been the most challenging period of Frank Lloyd Wright's career. This account uses the architect's long-inaccessable archives at Taliesin West to provide a balanced evaluation of Wright in the 1930s. It separates Wright's design activities from his self-promotion and places his philosophy of individualism within the context of the times.

La evolución de la vivienda argentina es la culminación de una larga investigación sobre el desarrollo de la vivienda.
