Matteo, an internationally known teacher of ethnic dance, choreographer of more than 50 original works, current president of the Spanish Dance Society and creator of the Foundation of Ethnic Dance, has put together an extensive analysis of the traditions of Spanish Dance. Contained within this study is a section on basic positions and techniques, an alphabetical listing of 800 terms with definitions, drawings, Labanotation diagrams, samples of typical music, and historical and contemporary photographs illustrating styles and positions.
