Amir Valle nació en Guantánamo, Cuba, en 1967. Licenciado en Periodismo por la Universidad de La Habana, además de su labor como periodista, crítico literario y ensayista ha desarrollado una prolífica y exitosa carrera como narrador, con títulos como Los desnudos de Dios, Santuario de sombras (Almuzara, 2006) o Las palabras y los muertos.
