La real historia de México

Author Alejandra Mora explores a fascinating aspect of vernacular photography: the "amplifications in cloth", a long field research that started in the town of San Pablo Huitzo, Etla, Oaxaca, and spanned all the way into Mexico City with the intention of locating the creators of such unique portraits, who using new technologies have managed to satisfy customer demands. En la obra “El retrato en México: 1781-1867. Héroes, emperadores y ciudadanos para una nueva nación"” la autora analiza la producción plástica del género del retrato durante ese periodo.
