En Luxemburgo, Martina inicia una nueva vida. Fiel y enardecida amante de la nostalgia se dejará seducir por la irresistible voluptuosidad de la tristeza. Tras semanas de inactividad, Martina encuentra trabajo en una empresa que gestiona la venta de productos esotéricos y la atención al cliente de varias videntes, lo que le abre una ventana a la sórdida y peculiar vida de miles de desconocidos gracias a los e-mails íntimos y estremecedores de los clientes. Martina vencerá su propia desidia y apaciguará su inquietante y promiscuo imaginario inmiscuyéndose en la existencia de los autores de esos apasionantes correos.
