Este poema épico narrativo nos relata desde la llegada de Cristóbal Cólon; de los héroes indígenas desde el polo norte hasta la patagonia; que lucharon contra el yugo de los conquistadores. También nos narra de los mártires de las patrias amerindias que dejaron su sangre por defender la libertad de nuestros conciudadanos, para tener un mejor porvenir allende a la mal llamada democracia.

La muerte –circunscrita a un breve fragmento temporal– fue el más claro ejemplo de la conjugación medieval entre lo material y lo inmaterial. El hombre, lejos de ignorar su impotencia ante la desaparición del mundo tangible, el único que conocía, logró generar toda una amplísima gama de convicciones, símbolos y representaciones, tanto mentales como plásticas, capaces de transmitir y desplegar sus códigos y vivencias espirituales y religiosas más íntimos. Imagine Ud. Como se habrán sentido los conquistadores españoles, cuando llegaron al Tahuantinsuyo y de pronto tienen noticias de un dios grabado en la Puerta del Sol de Tiahuanaco, más conocido como el Señor de los Báculos o Wiracocha, que dicen fue quien creo el universo de manera parecida a como es narrado en la Biblia. Este dios tuvo por hijo al Sol (Inti) y este por hijo al Inca, la autoridad terrenal. Un pueblo que trabajaba con alegría, que no padecía de necesidades, que no tenían codicia por el oro ni la plata.
