La catedral de Jaén, obra concebida en su conjunto por Andrés de Vandelvira, es una de las construcciones más representativas del renacimiento español, así como una muestra virtuosa del arte de la piedra, material exclusivo en el que se construyó. Este libro nos muestra la catedral en todas sus facetas, con un amplio despliegue fotográfico y la pluma experta de Pedro Galera, gran especialista del renacimiento en general y de la obra de Andrés de Vandelvira en particular.

Architectural guide to the city of Guadalajara, with a selection of close to 300 buildings representative of all time periods. The guide is divided in 3 sections: the first, the largest and medullar part of the book is the presentation of the buildings; a second section is an inventory of buildings important in the history of the city but now disappeared, and a third section includes location maps with recommended itineraries and routes. Each entry includes the name, date and brief history of the building and the name of the architect.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.
