El libro recoge material de trabajo, textos e imágenes esparcidas en la memoria, que configuran un cuerpo coherente, relevante y acorde con el significado del hecho arquitectónico: una forma de conocimiento del mundo. Con esta aproximación teórica, Eduard Bru brinda la posibilidad de iniciar un itinerario crítico, una revisión lúcida en perspectiva de algunos aspectos relacionados con la arquitectura contemporánea, que ilustran desde el pasado nuevas visiones del presente.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.
