This volume presents a series of studies of the wine from Hispania Citerior-Tarraconensis traded in amphorae, with the aim of demonstrating (as has recently been done for the amphora production) the existence of different trade dynamics, according to individual cases, territories and periods.

Results of a regional settlement study which argue that the emergence of highly nucleated early Wankarani villages can be attributed to concentration of highly productive land for a mixed farming-herding economy, defense, and labor pooling. There is little evidence of exotic imported goods, but some indication of small-scale village specialization and economic interdependence.
