"A highly motivated detective is intent on resolving the murder of a young student. In the course of his investigation he stumbles upon one of the biggest drug rings in the country and proceeds to bring the killer to justice. He must face Judge David Neto who in many ways resembles him. Both men share an uncompromising respect for justice that leaves them both doubtful about the defendant's guilt, even after the jury's verdict. Neither one of them could have imagined the sinister works of the depraved mind bechind the murder."--P. [4] of cover.
